The 2nd Annual Gala was held at the John Molson reception Hall of Molson’s Brewery on Thursday, April 19, 2001 to induct 6 new members into the Quebec Baseball Hall of Fame. Mr. Fred Spada was one of the six honored that evening for his involvement in this national sport. The profits of the evening help finance the activities of the Quebec Amateur Baseball Federation. Spada has been active in amateur baseball since 1951.
