Huile Sarullo L’ICE, L’Instuto di Commercio a l’Estero ou Delegue Commerciale d’Italie in cooperation with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada were hosts to food producers from Italy in Montreal recently. One of the benefits of this exposition was an agreement to import Pure Virgin Olive Oil to Canada from Sicily. Olio Sarullo is produced in the Province of Agrigento and in particular from Calamonaci. It is a village 307 M above sea level and at 40 km from the Valley of the Temples. Biancolilla Olives are used for making Sarullo Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Scientific researches indicate that consuming Extra Virgin Oil delays aging and protects against cardiovascular disease. The importer is situated at 4927 Jarry east, 514.327.7771.
