The Premios are intended to formally recognize individuals whose achievements have earned them distinction and brought honour to the Canadian-Italian Community of Quebec. Outstanding achievements will be recognized in the following categories: Business, Humanitarian and Creativity. The competition was open to all individuals of Italian origin or descent. An independent jury will be evaluating in the second week of April. Each nomination is based upon the information obtained from the nomination forms as well as other information deemed necessary. All information is held in the strictest of confidence.The recipients will be honoured at a Gala evening to be held Saturday, April 20, 2002 at the Chateau Vaudreuil.
