Parasuco...NEW YORK, May 23, 2006- DJAM masterfully manned the turntables and Lindsay Lohan smiled coyly as dozens of flashbulbs exploded all around her, but the real star of the celebrity-studded evening was Salvatore Parasuco, legendary denim designer, who launched his first ever US Flagship in the heart of New York City’s SOHO district last Thursday, May 18, 2006.

PARASUCO opened the stunning space with a luxurious launch party for 350 carefully selected invitees. Celebrities Kelly Hu (X-men II), Roger Cross (24), Stella Keitel (daughter of Lorraine Bracco and Harvey Keitel), Geoff Stultz (Wedding Crashers), Billy Bush (Access Hollywood), Golden Brooks (Girlfriends), Greg Bello (Requiem for a Dream), Canadian actor Victor Webster (Charmed) and Henry Simmons (NYPD Blue) were among those in attendance for this milestone event. Cheryl Burke and Stacey Keibler (both of Dancing with the Stars) showed guests a thing or two about how to tear up a dance floor. The beautiful people were well represented by Emma Snowdon-Jones, Sky Nellor, Luigi Tadini, Genevieve Jones, Tatiana Papanicolau, Frederique Van Der Wahl and Irina Lazareanu. All guests were treated to an original dance performance that started with a single performer 17 feet above eye-level and 8 Broadway dancers who danced to Grace Jones classics, making their way through the partygoers filling the newly renovated luxury space. www.pappajo.net
