Born and raised in Montreal among the Italian community, Lena who is of Italian descent was blessed to belong to a wonderful Christian family. Her parent's, who were both talented musicians, instilled in her not only a love for music, but also a love for the creator of music. Brought up in a very loving, spiritual, environment, Lena began singing gospel music mainly in different churches throughout the city. She began to sing solo at the age of 9 years old and as she grew so did her love for God and her fellow man. With the desire to inspire people through spiritual music, her first English album came out in 1989. A few years later, she was able to record an Italian album, and in 1997, she recorded one in French and English. Being invited to sing throughout the province of, Quebec, this talented lady sings inspirational music in three languages, allowing the Love of God to flow through her voice. It's no wonder her latest album is entitled, 'THE LOVE OF GOD", "L'AMOUR DE DIEU". In 1998 her angelic voice reached the ears of the producers of the renowned Evangelist Billy Graham. She was invited to sing on the opening night, at the Corel Centre in Ottawa, before a crowd of 22,000 people, accompanied by the Ottawa Symphony orchestra. Her God given talent has since taken her to many different parts of the world. Singing throughout Canada, the USA and Europe. Her French album has been a #l best seller amongst the French speaking communities in the islands of the Carrabeans, in France and in Quebec, in the category of spiritual music. Today Lena's voice can be heard over the airwaves in Martinique, France and Canada on the inspirational stations. Her albums are sold in Christian librairies and she continues to sing live and travel along with her husband of 22 years and her two lovely children. Lena is a frequent guest on television broadcasts such as 100 Huntley Street, aired at 10:30 AM, every morning on channel 3, GLOBAL. Presently living in Laval, Lena and her family are blessed to be apart of helping in the Christian communities. They are very active members in their local church in the St. Michel area. "L'Eglise Assemblee de la Bonne Nouvelle". This is a modern day church that is committed to helping others. Situated at 7393 18fh Avenue, in St. Michel, their church is dedicated to helping the poor, distribution of bread and is very concerned in the well being of families who need help. There are many activities reaching out to teenagers women, men, and elderly alike. Lena can often be found leading the worship with a live band in her local church on Sundays, when she is not travelling. Whether Lena is found singing solo, or leading people into worship music, you can be sure that she will move the heart of the listener to draw closer to God and the name of Jesus Christ is lifted high.
