Over 100 people from the artistic community attended the 69^th Anniversary of the Mayor of Saint Cristophe Street, Mr. Jean Simon. The event was held in Old Montreal at the RESTAURANT PAPILLON. Simon is an impresario to many Quebec artists including such notables as Ginette Reno, Pierre Senecal, Serge Laprade, etc…from 1955 to1987, he was responsible for booking, in local cabarets, most artists in the Greater Montreal area "Although I am celebrating my 69^th birthday , when I am with all you beautiful people, I feel like a 20 years young person" said Simon when presented with beautiful gifts.
