| INTERNMENT 1940…The
Honorable Consiglio Di Nino, a Senator from Ontario was in town recently
to meet some leaders of the Italian Community to explain the
government’s program called CHRP (Community Historical Recognition
Program).and mentioned that not one non-profit organization on Montreal
Island has applied for compensation. the event was held Sunday October
25, 2009 at Da Enrico’s restaurant in Little Italy. Anyone needing info,
contact me and I will be pleased to help. In the photo we see from left,
Riccardo De Ioris, Barbara Pisani, Senator Consiglio Di Nino, and Lydia
Padulo. The three people mentioned are candidates for the Conservative
party in the next general federal elections.
