The Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Italian Business and Professional Association (Cibpa) was held recently to release the financial statements to the members. The president, Mr. Salvatore Mariani told the audience that the finances for the year 2000 was very good for the Cibpa and that the year 2001 is proving to be better for the association. During the evening, Mr. Vince Giangaspero was Awarded "Member Emeritus" for his lifetime dedication and contribution to the association. This prestigious award is presented very rarely and the criteria for such a distinction are difficult to achieve.
