A banquet was held recently to raise funds for the Liberal Party of Quebec in the Viger district of Saint Leonard represented by MNA Cosmo Maciocia. The Leader of the opposition, The Honorable Jean Charest accompanied by his wife were the guests of honor, which was held at Le Rizz on Jarry Street in Saint Leonard. Over 600 people were present to hear guest speakers congratulate Mr. Cosmo Maciocia for his twenty (20) years in politics. Maciocia thanked all present that evening and in return he and his family received a standing ovation for his devotion to the citizens of Saint Leonard.
