On Friday, March 30, 2001, Cibpa (The Canadian Italian Business and Professional Association) held their annual Joint Dinner Meeting at the Hotel Four Points Dorval, 6660 Cote de Liesse, Ville Saint Laurent. The Guest speaker was Mr. Andre Caille President of Hydro Quebec. André Caillé gave a progress report on Hydro-Québec's achievements and talked about the new challenges the company will have to tackle in the future Caille went on to say that in its Strategic Plan 2000-2002, Hydro-Québec committed itself to serving its customers better. In Québec, a local market with an international makeup, meeting the needs of its clientele means listening to customers and adapting its approach to the expectations of different customer categories. In a market that is restructuring, the company must, at the same time, increase its profitability and promote its resources and expertise around the world.
