Bursaries. On November 20, 2002, the CIBPA granted bursaries totalling $125,000 at Leonardo da Vinci Center. Over 250 people were present. The invited guest of honor was Mr.Frank Iacobucci, Superior Court Judge of Canada. Since its creation in 1961, the program has helped students of Italian origin pursue their university education. The 2002 Fundraising Campaign was presided by Me Rita lc de Santis, Lawyer and Associate of Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg. This year the CIBPA granted 43 bursaries $2000.for undergraduates, $3000. for Master's degree level and $4000. at the doctorate level.
