Since its creation in 1961, The CIBPA Bursary Program has granted over 1.7 million dollars to students of Italian origin who have achieved academic excellence and who meet the established financial assistance criteria. The program is unique among community-based business associations in Quebec and Canada, and confirms the CIBPA's long-standing commitment to education. The fact that CIBPA has maintained this program for 41 years exemplifies its determination concerning education. The CIBPA Bursary Program is open to full time university students at the under-graduate, graduate or post-graduate studies level , that are Canadian citizens, recognized residents of the province of Quebec and are of Italian origin. The CIBPA is pleased to announce that Me Rita Lc de Santis, Associate with Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg will be chairing the 2002 Fundraising Campaign.This year's Bursary Night will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at the new Leonardo Da Vinci Centre, 8350 Lacordaire Boulevard in Saint-Léonard.In the photo we see from left Mr. Luciano D'Ignazio CA.
