A reception was held recently to celebrate the 100 years of Mr. Bonifacio Malatesta. Malatesta was born on February 21, 1901. At the age of 19 years old he joined the army for 22 months. Upon his discharge from the army, he married on January 29, 1921 and the couple had 4 children. His wife passed away when he was 56 and he decided to move to Montreal at the age of 60 to be with his children. Mr. Malatesta lives at Foyer Benito Marro and enjoys the many activities that are available there. The reception was held at Restaurant DiMenna on Jarry Street in Saint Leonard, A Five Star restaurant. The owner Mr. Frank DiMenna was present to wish Mr. Malatesta his personal congratulations.
